Britain 2011 GP
Wednesday, July 13
Despite his outstanding talent, it is doubtful that Fernando Alonso would have won the British Grand Prix had it not been for the indirect help from the governing body and the strange decision to change the rules in mid-season, and of course Red Bull shooting themselves in the foot with chaotic pitstops. Under these most unfavorable circumstances, the Red Bull brigade still managed to finish 2nd and 3rd, and the future looks as bright as ever for Sebastain Vettel's title chase. The battle between Webber and Wonderboy in the final laps was ferocious and cool, but the Horner management didn't think so, Mark's ears ringing from the repeated orders telling him to stay put. But the Aussie is notoriously deaf at times... As Quick Vic Elford once said after getting the team orders pitwall sign, "I kept going as fast as I could". Some are deaf, others are blind, all are racers, for our joy!

Goethe said: "Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen".
Jenson Button must be a magician. Five pit stops, a collision, a drive through penalty, and he wins the race on the last lap, two corners from the checkered flag? You couldn't make that stuff up, and reality beats fiction 1-0. All credit goes to the coolest driver in F1, whose name will undoubtably grace the history books, a man who after having conquered the greatest of wins in the most treacherous conditions savoured victory on the podium with genuine, gentle happiness and not a trace of arrogance. Bravo! Monaco 2011 GP

To be or not to be… a racer, that's the question.
To speak or not to speak… your mind, that's the question.
To have or not to have… an F1 police force, that's the question.
Lewis Hamilton is not conforming, he must be prosecuted!
Five out of six for Vettel.
