Four races, three wins and a second place for Sebastian Vettel. Mmmhhh... It doesn't look like anyone is going to really get in the way of the German kid this season, except for an occasional hiccup, like the Chinese glitch three weeks ago... The word "unstoppable" comes to mind: a mean Anglo-French machine, funded and driven by an Austro-German Panzer division operation... Yes, this season is going to be tough for the Red Bull competition. Alonso and Hamilton will rise on occasion, and so will Webber, but overall the kid from Heppenheim will only leave them crumbs.

Give time and money to Adrian Newey, and he will produce the fastest cars in F1, as demonstrated by the continuing success of Red Bull Racing. Sebastian Vettel's win in the Malaysian Grand Prix culminated with a well deserved champagne shower for the genius from Stratford-Upon-Avon. No doubt there will be many others...

The 2011 season started like 2010 ended! Vettel dominant, Hamilton second, Webber disappointed, Alonso frustrated and Petrov impressive! History repeating itself? Perhaps, but the circumstances were strikingly different… Because in the wake of the Japanese cataclysm, there was something surreal about this first race of the season. One side of us was physically present in the small F1 bubble of Melbourne while another side of us was far away, linked in spirit with the brave Nippon people. A massive feeling of perspective and relativity…
